Command and Conquer 4 will require gamers to have an active Internet connection at all times, even when playing a single-player campaign. EA says not to worry, but gamers wanting to play on the go are sure to be annoyed.
"As of right now, you need to be online all the time to play C&C 4. This is primarily due to our 'player progression' feature so everything can be tracked. C&C 4 is not an MMO in the sense of World of Warcraft, but conceptually it has similar principles for being online all the time," Community Leader APOC wrote."
BAHAHAHAHAHAHA
If you're already enraged, don't be. We're assured that this is no big deal. "While some may be taken aback by this, we've been testing this feature internally with all of our world-wide markets," APOC continued. "We wanted to make sure it wouldn't take away any significant market or territory from playing the game. We have not found or seen any results that have made us think otherwise." You won't need a broadband connection, in fact you'll be able to use a dial-up connection to get the game to play.
How kind of them. Too bad for all those people who dont have internet access... for example people living on SHIPS; fisherman, navy, etc.
Dont worry. You will be able to pirate a copy and not have to deal with this DRM. Like usual DRM only hurts the legal people. ------------------------ To make a megathron from scratch, you must first invent the eve universe. ------------------------ Life sucks and then you get podded. |

Did they not learn anything from SPORE?
My theory is that they figure they can make more money by sueing everyone.
Afterall...
Itunes = 1$ per song Minnesota Court = 80,000$ per song. ------------------------ To make a megathron from scratch, you must first invent the eve universe. ------------------------ Life sucks and then you get podded. |

You must be a pirate then... after all everyone's connection is solid unless you are downloading illegal games and movies.
Thusly DRM locks you out of your game. ------------------------ To make a megathron from scratch, you must first invent the eve universe. ------------------------ Life sucks and then you get podded. |
